The Brand Gap: Book Re-design

This project required re-designing and producing a printed book using content sourced from an existing book. The book sourced contains tips in which unifies the theory of brand-building. It provides developing success for marketing strategy for people working in the creative field. 

The redesigning process included figuring out the right typeface, sketching and planning; mainly trialling and error. Because the books design is contemporary, I have decided to keep it simple and clean by using a modern serif typeface, Mrs Eaves. This typeface pushes the contrast between thick and thin strokes, thus, creating text which is perfect to read. The original design of the book has text outside of the grids in all places of the book, generating a disorganised approach to the book. By using paragraph styles and changing a few design aspects of the book, I was able to produce my redesigned version of the book.
